Moist and Saucy Meatloaf

Meatloaf is another easy comfort food, which in many cases will provide more than one meal! Cook once, eat twice. Meatloaf can be served several ways, including with mash potatoes and peas or grilled and served on a sandwich, even as a modified Patty Melt!

Meatloaf can be served several ways, including with mash potatoes and peas or grilled and served on a sandwich, even as a modified Patty Melt!

Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 2 lb. grass fed McLaughlin Farm ground beef
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 20 saltines, crushed
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup steak sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons catsup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Mustard Sauce

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard

Tomato Sauce

  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Combine meatloaf ingredients and shape into 14x8 inch loaf on a greased 15x10 inch pan.
  2. Mix Mustard Sauce ingredients and spread on meatloaf.
  3. Combine Tomato Sauce ingredients and pour over meatloaf.
  4. Bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
  5. Drain before serving.
